Based on our Medium-Term Vision of "transformation into a production house that works together with every talent and takes on challenges globally," and our basic approach to sustainability, we have identified four categories and nine key issues that we must now address.

Four categories and nine key issues

In addition to tackling important issues,
we aim to realize a better society by communicating through entertainment.

Based on the philosophy that "the only way to captivate someone's heart is to offer inspiring and impressive moments," the Amuse Group has been striving to realize a better society through the power of entertainment, including the charity event "Act Against Anything" and the AMUSE Bokin (fundraising).
We believe that the true value of entertainment is to provide opportunities for people to think about social issues through music, drama, and other forms of expression. We also believe that scattering the seeds of "awareness" in people's minds and creating positive change is a step toward a better future and an important role for us to play.
We will continue our efforts to move people's hearts with the power of entertainment and bring a smile to someone's face tomorrow.

Process for identifying key issues

The following process has been implemented to formulate the key issues.

  1. step01

Identify risks and opportunities, and extract issues

A workshop was held to identify business opportunities and risks due to predicted future changes in society and the environment, with employees from various internal departments participating. Based on the business opportunities and risks identified, as well as the Medium-Term Management Plan, the Sustainability Committee consulted with external advisors to identify issues for driving the Company's sustainable growth, with reference to international standards and guidelines.

  2. step02

Assessment of issues and third-party opinions

The impact of the issues identified was mapped along two axes: management and stakeholder perspectives. This was carried out with the involvement of employees from a wide range of departments within the Company. We also conducted interviews with external experts and incorporated third-party opinions on the perspectives of stakeholders, to create a candidate list of potential key issues.

  3. step03

    Determination of key issues

The Officers and the Sustainability Committee discussed the appropriateness of the potential key issues, and then a final decision was made by the Board of Directors. Going forward, key issues will be reviewed as necessary in response to changes in the external environment.
