Basic Policy on Human Rights

The AMUSE Group's basic policy is to respect the International Bill of Human Rights and other international standards in human rights, and to comply with the AMUSE Commitment, a set of action guidelines designed to promote and disseminate such standards. This policy applies to all Officers, employees and artists in our Group, but we also request our business partners to understand and follow it.
We are committed to identifying human rights risks through dialogue with our stakeholders and working with them to continuously prevent violations and improve issues related to human rights.

The AMUSE Commitment

AMUSE Group's mission has been to generate and deliver moving emotions based on our belief that "the only way to captivate someone's heart is to offer inspiring and impressive moments."
Moving emotions, the driving force that breaks down barriers between people and between people and society, are generated when the dreams and passion of one person are mixed with the diverse talents and sensibilities of a diverse group of people. The power of people is indeed the source of our value creation.
We have established the AMUSE Commitment to ensure that the AMUSE Group will continue to work with people to generate and deliver moving emotions to fans around the world.

  • 1Respect the uniqueness of others

    • We do not discriminate on the basis of race, nationality, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or religion. We strive to create an environment where individuality and unique characteristics are recognized and accepted to let people be what they want to be.
    • What is normal for one individual may not be what is normal for others. We do not impose our values or ways of doing things on others.
    • We do not threaten the dignity of others (such as through harassment) just because we cannot accept someone's individuality and unique characteristics.
  • 2Disapprove injustice as well as work against injustice

    • We do not violate others' safety and security, nor treat vulnerable people unfairly. We do not engage in any harassment.
    • We strictly observe laws and regulations and other rules, and adhere to the principle of fair play. We do not do something dishonest for personal gain, nor do we give ourselves special treatment or ask for special treatment.
    • We do not turn a blind eye to injustice.
  • 3Don't abandon people in need

    • Always keep an open mind and listen to the voices of those who are in a vulnerable position.
    • If there is someone in need, we think about what we can do to help and offer a hand.
    • We facilitate positive social movements using our ability to communicate.
  • 4Team AMUSE!

    • Artists, colleagues, and people who are close to us, including staff from other companies, customers and shareholders, are all valued members of Team AMUSE! We appreciate the miracle of being born in the same era and meeting each other, and we treat each other with respect.
    • We lend a helping hand when they are in need and do not hesitate to ask for help if needed.
    • We take an interest and always try to get to know them. We don't do anything to make them feel bad.
    • We share objectives, experiences, information, and the joy of working with them and recognize each other's personal growth.
    • We value greetings.
    • We value the things we believe in to deliver moving emotions with them to the world.

We fulfill this promise in the hope that moving emotions generated by the AMUSE Group will remain high across the world for the next 100 years and beyond.

Compliance

Correction and Remedy Structure

The AMUSE Group has established the AMUSE Clean Line, a whistleblower hotline whose members include outside lawyers. Any human rights risks identified as a result of reporting to the hotline will be investigated, and remedial or corrective measures will be taken, while also ensuring that the privacy of the informant is protected. The Corporate Governance Committee will be notified so that the case is reflected in the company-wide risk management and internal control system to prevent a recurrence.
For our artists, a dedicated consultation hotline answered by an internal lawyer is available to discuss concerns and problems related to harassment and legal compliance.
