Amuse Inc. (hereinafter "Amuse") shall comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter, the "Protection Act") and other laws and regulations, the guideline stipulated by Personal Information Protection Commission, and other foreign laws and regulations applicable to Amuse (including General Data Protection Regulation of the EU (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), and shall, in light of the importance of personal information, endeavor to appropriately handle and to protect the personal information of its customers (including shareholders; the same hereinafter) acquired and managed by Amuse in accordance with the following policies. The term "Personal Information" as used in this Privacy Policy means any information that can identify a specific individual, whether directly or indirectly, and the definitions of other terms have the same meaning as ascribed thereto in the Protection Act unless otherwise specified.

1. Acquisition of Personal Information and Preservation Period

(1) Amuse shall acquire the Personal Information of the customers by lawful and fair means upon indicating its purpose of use in advance. Amuse shall acquire the following types of Personal Information of the customers.
- Information that a customer provided to Amuse (customer's name, e-mail address, date of birth, sex, country of residence or address , etc.)
- Information related to a customer’s activities on the Amuse website (login history, browsing history, product purchase history, and ticket reservation history)


(2) Use of the pages requiring membership registration, on any of the Amuse website pages, is subject to the customer’s registration of his/her Personal Information.

(3) Amuse shall preserve the customer's Personal Information until the end of the preservation period in the case that a preservation period has been established, and otherwise, until the customer makes a request to erase the Personal Information.

2. Use of Personal Information

The Personal Information acquired and managed by Amuse shall be used to the extent required to attain the following purposes and shall not be used for any other purpose, unless the customer consents or it is permitted by laws and regulations.
Amuse may, for the purpose of the smooth progression of its business, outsource a part of its business to a third party, and may provide Personal Information to the extent necessary to the outsourced party. In such case, Amuse shall perform required and appropriate supervision for the safe management of such Personal Information such as executing with such outsourced parties an agreement related to the handling of the Personal Information outsourced.


Description

(1) Purpose of Use of Personal Information of Customers

i. Provision of products and services (including concerts and fan clubs) including CDs and DVDs of artists belonging to Amuse; introduction of such products and services; introduction of new films produced by Amuse and films distributed by Amuse; introduction of events; and introduction of products and services, etc. by Amuse’s affiliate companies.

ii. Handling inquiries from customers.

iii. Administrative affairs related to payment demands, refund, payment, etc.


(2) Purpose of Use of Personal Information of Shareholders

Management of shareholders, such as exercise of rights and performance of obligations pursuant to the Companies Act; recordation and management of the operations of shareholder meetings; grant of various benefits by Amuse to its shareholders; and creation of data pursuant to laws and regulations.

3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

Amuse shall not provide Personal Information to any third party without obtaining prior consent from the customer himself/herself, except for cases in which there exist reasonable grounds such as being permitted by the Protection Act or other laws and regulations.

4. Management of Personal Information

Amuse shall endeavor to maintain Personal Information in an accurate and updated condition to the extent required to attain its purpose of use, and to erase Personal Information without delay if it becomes unnecessary to use such Personal Information.
In addition, Amuse shall, in relation to the Personal Information handled by it, adopt appropriate security measures against illegal access and computer virus, and shall take necessary and sufficient safety measures against divulgation, loss, damage, alteration, etc. of the Personal Information. Amuse shall also perform thorough internal education related to the appropriate handling of Personal Information of the customers.

5. Notification of Purpose of Use and Customer’s Rights Related to Personal Information (Requests for Disclosure, Rectification, Addition, Suspension of Use, Erasure, etc.)

(1) If the customer himself/herself makes a request for the notice of the purpose of use in relation to the Personal Information held by Amuse, Amuse shall promptly notify such customer except in the following cases.

i. The purpose of use of the Personal Information of the customer himself/herself is clear.

ii. There exists the likelihood that the life, body, property or other rights and interests of the customer himself/herself or a third party would be impaired.

iii. There exists the likelihood that Amuse’s rights or legitimate interests would be impaired.

iv. In the case in which is necessary to cooperate with governmental agencies or local municipalities in their performance of the administrative affairs set forth under laws and regulations, there exists the likelihood that it would obstruct the performance of such administrative affairs.


(2) Customers are entitled to the following rights in relation to his/her Personal Information held by Amuse.

i. Right to request Amuse to limit the purpose of use of Personal Information, or to rectify or erase Personal Information.

ii. Right to file an objection against the use of Personal Information by Amuse, and right to file an objection to the supervisory authorities.

iii. Right to data portability (right to request to provide data of the customer himself/herself processed by Amuse, and right to request to provide data of the customer himself/herself to a third party designated by the customer in a form designated by the customer (the latter is limited to the case where it is technically feasible)).

iv. Right to withdraw consent given by the customer upon the customer’s provision of his/her Personal Information (provided, however, that any use of Personal Information of the customer by Amuse prior to revocation of consent by the customer shall not be affected by the revocation of consent).


(3) If the customer himself/herself requests disclosure of his/her Personal Information held by Amuse, Amuse shall promptly give notice in accordance pursuant to prescribed procedures except in the following cases.

i. There exists the likelihood that the life, body, property or other rights and interests of the customer himself/herself or a third party would be impaired.

ii. There exists the likelihood that it would materially obstruct the proper implementation of Amuse’s business.

iii. It results in violation of laws or regulations.


(4) If the customer himself/herself requests that the contents of his/her Personal Information held by Amuse be rectified, added or erased, Amuse shall investigate without delay and take appropriate measures based upon the results thereof.


(5) If the customer himself/herself requests that the contents of his/her Personal Information held by Amuse be suspended or erased, and it becomes evident that there exists grounds for such request, Amuse shall promptly take appropriate measures.
Amuse may, to the extent required to attain the purpose of use described in Article 2, send by mail or transmit by e-mail to the customer an introduction of the products or services, etc. of Amuse or its affiliate companies which are considered beneficial to the customer. If a customer not wishing to receive such introduction notifies Amuse, Amuse shall promptly stop sending mails or transmitting e-mails.


(6) Protection of Personal Information on Other Websites

i. Acceptance Method and Contact Window
Please make an inquiry to the prescribed contact destination by the method prescribed by Amuse notified to the customer in advance.

ii. Identification
For the purposes of confirming that the inquiry is being made by the customer himself/herself, Amuse shall make confirmations such as by confirming identification documents such as driver’s license, passport, health insurance card, and certificate of registered seal; and by calling back to the telephone number registered with Amuse; and by confirming the information registered with Amuse such as name, address, telephone number, passcode, bank account number, credit card number, etc.

6.Protection of Personal Information on Third Party Websites

Amuse shall not be responsible for the protection of Personal Information, etc. of a customer on other websites linked on the Amuse website.

7.Cookie

Amuse may use "cookie" so that customers visiting the Amuse website can receive more convenient services. Through this, Amuse shall recognize the customer’s personal computer when the customer revisits the website, enabling the customer to receive more convenient services.


(1)Functions of Cookie
"Cookie" is a small fragment of information sent by the web server to customer's web browser for the purposes of efficient operations of the internet, and may be stored in the customer's disk as a file.
When cookie is used, the web server can record the pages visited by the customer.
Through the use of cookie, the web server can identify the customer's personal computer; however, each individual customer will remain unidentifiable until the customer enters his/her Personal Information on the Amuse website.
(Cookie itself does not include any information which can identify an individual).
Amuse may disclose collective information statistically processing information obtained by the use of cookie; however, this shall not include information which can identify each individual customer..


(2) Purpose of Use of Cookie
Amuse shall use cookie for the purposes of enhancing for better services, seeking possibilities, and enabling customers to receive the services of the Amuse website in a comfortable environment, and Amuse shall not use cookie for any other purposes.
Amuse’s advertisements shall be displayed in various internet websites through third party distribution business operators.
Third party distribution business operators shall, by using cookie, distribute advertisements based upon information of past accesses to the Amuse website.


(3) Rejecting (Opting-Out From) Cookie
A customer can opt-out from cookie by following simple steps.
By "opting-out", a customer can prevent customer information from being associated with a certain web browser.
By this, a customer can reject (opt-out from) Amuse’s cookie for advertisement distribution, without erasing or changing other cookies related to the web browser being used by the customer.
If a customer does not need cookie, the customer should reject cookie through the setting of the various web browsers.

8. Improvement Measures

Amuse shall endeavor to appropriately adjust to the demands of customers, etc. related to the handling of Personal Information, the development of information technology, and other changes in social environment, and shall endeavor to improve such as by timely and appropriately reviewing this Privacy Policy and other various rules as necessary.
