We will strengthen our creative activities through these three areas.

Discover, Develop, and Deliver. We believe these three areas exist in our creative activities. We will update our creative activities and aim for further growth by continuing our Exploration, where we dig deeper into existing framework utilizing our knowledge and experience acquired over many years, and Evolution, where we advance to new areas and broaden our new framework by incorporating the changes of the times and new technology.

01 Strengthening Our Artist and Content Portfolio

Artists are the source of our creative activities. Cultivating new talents among our existing artists and developing brand-new artists with our own refined approach is an important first step in producing well-loved artists. At the same time, digitalization is accelerating and the quality of content and IPs held by a company has become important within the entertainment market, where the subscription-based business model has especially prospered. Going beyond works created by artists, we will further strengthen our content portfolio by focusing on discovering excellent content and IPs as demanded by the times.

02 Strengthening our skills as producers

Our production capability can maximize the value of artists and content and is the key driver in creative activities overall. First, we will explore management that has a long-term perspective for artist management, our core business. Today, when artists can create content themselves and deliver it to their audience directly thanks to the popularization of social media, the management ideas of taking on each artists' talents and branding their long-term careers with a wide perspective have come to have a significant meaning once again in production functions. The number of artists has increased when compared to when we were first founded, and we will realize sustainable growth for both our artists and Amuse alike through creating strong relationships of trust that go beyond the framework of business partners, optimizing managerial human resources, and creating a company-wide support system for artists. At the same time, the enrichment of content producers is urgently needed to evolve our development. To respond to unanticipated changes to the environment and to changes in methods of delivery following these changes, it has become even more important to not only seek content demanded by the market from the outside but also to plan, create, and deliver content on our own. We aim to further strengthen our foundation through developing human resources, reforming work styles, and adjusting organizational and support systems to increase the number of content producers that will quickly promote creative activities from scratch. With our 2020 reorganization, we further increased our mobility by downsizing the organization of our departments and appointing young managers. We also are developing human resources that contribute to the development of new content that goes beyond the existing borders in entertainment, including the establishment of spaces for planning presentations by young employees and new business proposals by cross-sectional project teams.

03 Strengthening Fan Engagement

At "Delivery," the stability of the relationships among artists, content, and supporting fans (the strengthening of fan engagement) is even more important. As we enhance our own production of in-house fan community business and in-house manufacturing and sales of merchandise that has been a part of our growth strategy up until now, the collaboration between these will lead to an improvement in convenience and satisfaction for fans. We also believe that our digital strategy will be key in our Evolution. We will pursue new ways to deliver content that is optimized for the digital age through creating our own online concert distribution platform and through strategic utilization of social media and other outside platforms. Specifically, the move online for concerts, which has been our main business, has become one of the most important issues in the pandemic, and we will deliver online concerts that are unique to Amuse, as we have valued real emotions.
